Commercial Artwork

 When Charles Tunnicliffe came back to Macclesfield in 1928 he devoted much of his
time to commercial artwork,mainly for the farming industry - adverts for cattle food,
veterinary products, fertilisers, cover designs for information booklets, etc.
His wood-engravings for Bob Martin's dog foods were masterpieces of graphic design.
When he moved to Anglesey in 1947, he also continued with this type of work and
produced some excellent colour artwork for advertisements.
